Dairy Queen Enhances Access to Medical Equip for Children

Dairy Queen has partnered has collaborated efforts with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Gundersen generating capital help for children in the area. For every blizzard sold, Dairy Queen raised one dollar.Dairy Queen has been involved in raising money for children for years now.

In Western Wisconsin, and Southeastern Minnesota, Dairy Queen has raised more than $300,000 over the years. The fast food company chain has partnered with not only Miracle Treat Day but other fundraisers as well to help the kids. The attempt of the company has always been outwardly showcased by collaborating with multiple entities of the region generating funds for helping the children of the region.

The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Gundersen has been working with children and their families across 25 surrounding counties helping them with any injuries, illnesses and aid with an ongoing treatment.The funds raised could significantly help the families pay for any medical help including the requirement for certain devices and medical equipments. Many illnesses and disorders render children partially or completely dependent on certain medical equipments.

The cost of such systems is often way outside of a regular income group. The funds will also cover other requirements such as therapies and architectural changes such as need for lifts and ramps. Among the 2020-2021 CMN Hospital Heroes is a patient with chronic lung disease. CMN aids his family by providing them with gas cards, meal tickets, shoes that help him with ankle-foot orthosis along with at-home therapy device.
